Now it’s time to point Plex at the actual files, select Browse for media folder and select the folder that houses your movie files. It allows you to sift through your songs, movies and pictures in a comfortable and elegant manner.Ī better idea is to use Plex Home Theater, an all-in-one media center. For most people leaving the default name of Movies should suffice. You can have Plex Home Theater up and running in no time, but you have to use it together with Plex Media Server, which can be installed just as fast. You don't have to import anything into Plex Home Theater, because it will automatically retrieve everything you have in Plex Media Server. The application comes with a full-screen user interface, which can be controlled with the keyboard. Now head to the Plugins folder on your Plex server. You can use the arrow keys to select different menus and hit the Return key to access their contents. Installing WebTools is simple: download the latest release and unarchive it.

Once you select a media file, the application takes you to a different screen, where you will find the necessary controls for playing the files, adding them to a queue and performing other actions.
